Crisk.asia proudly supported the complex and high-stakes replacement of the entire stay cable system on the Penang Bridge in 2009. Working alongside Freyssinet, we helped facilitate uninterrupted traffic flow during the operation, which included carefully transferring loads via custom temporary supports, removing and replacing cable anchors under tight tolerances, and installing over 637 tons of new strand material—all while maintaining the bridge’s critical connectivity.

Crisk.asia proudly supports Philips Lumileds Malaysia in advancing its LED manufacturing operations—a project dubbed “P2 – LED Manufacture.” This initiative centers on the relocation and expansion of Lumileds’ production facility in Penang, Malaysia, where Philips’ LUXEON® LED technology plays a pivotal role.

The Robert Bosch PGP1 Plant Extension and Retrofit Project in Bayan Lepas, Penang, sees an approximately 84,000 sq ft built-up expansion and 450,000 sq ft retrofit across a 21-acre site. Spearheaded via an EPCM approach, the project modernizes production, office, and support infrastructure, including traffic flow and sewerage upgrades, while successfully maintaining uninterrupted operations throughout.

Crisk.asia supported Bosch in the PGP1 rooftop solar project in Penang, installing a 3 MWp system that generates 4,500 MWh of clean energy annually. The project reduces 3,000 tons of CO₂ each year and supplies 18% of the plant’s power, marking a major step in Bosch’s sustainability goals.

Crisk.asia played an instrumental role in supporting the successful delivery of the Robert Bosch PGP1 rooftop solar project—a landmark 3 MWp installation that not only reinforces Bosch’s sustainability ambitions, but also enhances Penang’s clean energy capacity. The installation now delivers significant annual electricity generation and CO₂ savings, all while operating under a zero-capex, high-impact renewable energy model.

Crisk.asia supported Robert Bosch in developing the PGP5 semiconductor back-end facility in Batu Kawan, Penang. Opened in 2023 with an investment of RM1.62 billion, the plant focuses on final testing and assembly of semiconductors and sensors for the global automotive market. As Bosch’s first such site in Southeast Asia, PGP5 strengthens supply chain resilience, accelerates chip delivery, and enhances Penang’s position as a regional high-tech hub.

The Bosch PgP5 plant in Batu Kawan, Penang is a semiconductor backend testing facility specializing in automotive chips. Opened in 2023, it strengthens Bosch’s global supply chain and Penang’s role in advanced electronics. We are Crisk.asia, proud to support this project.

We at Crisk.asia support Osram in the FEK 2 project, a cutting-edge semiconductor facility in Kulim, Malaysia, focused on advanced LED and microLED production with sustainable, CO₂-neutral operations in line with ams OSRAM’s 2030 goals.
